Giving to southwest
Southwest has been blessed in its 11 years to have been supported by generous people giving to the school. Parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the school have considered the ministry of Southwest and the training of young people as worthy of their gifts of financial support and time. Hundreds of volunteer hours have gone into making Southwest what it is today, and the school would not exist without our donors’ continued support. Each year, the school launches its Annual Fund Drive, seeking financial support in the daily operation of the school. For the 2007-08 school year, the goal of the Annual Fund Drive is $225,000. That amount represents the budgeted figure needed to support the school over and above tuition dollars. Contributions to the Annual Fund Drive help support such programs as the school’s Student Financial Aid Program and salaries of our faculty and staff. If you are interested in helping support Southwest with a financial gift, please contact Dr. Paul Norby, Head of School, at p_norby@swchs.org.
The school is also greatly supported by volunteer help. Annual programs such as the Night of Stars (talent show), Evening Under the Stars (auction), the Golf Tournament, and Senior Graduation Party are all directed by parent volunteers. There are many opportunities available for your volunteer support. Please call the school, and we can put you in contact with our Volunteer Support Coordinator.
