Brian has served as a college student Chaplain, an interim pastor, and an itinerant evangelist in 13+ years of ministry. Mr. Goldie and his wife, Jody, attended Seminary together and now live on Campus at Gustavus Adolphus College where his wife works in Residence Life as an Area Coordinator for first-year students. Brian and Jody have two sons. Mr. Goldie loves the peace of reading a good book, the freeing feeling of having had a truly honest conversation, a good meal and a hearty laugh with old and true friends, backpacking and the outdoors, early mornings just before the sun is up, the sensation of a new idea or an old one well put, and anything that brings him closer to the God who made it so he will never be the same.

Mrs. Pickard is originally from Orange City, IA, where she grew up knowing the Lord from a young age. She was highly involved in sports and the arts at Unity Christian High School and Northwestern College, where she received her degree in 2004. Prior to joining the staff at Southwest Christian, Mrs. Pickard taught Bible classes at Calvin Christian School for 7 years. In 2002, she married Josh Pickard. Today they live in Chanhassen with sons Carter, born in 2010, and Bennett, born in 2012. Mrs. Pickard enjoys being outdoors with her boys, playing volleyball, having a cup of coffee with friends, making pottery, and the rare days she is able to spend with her siblings.

Rob grew up in the Twin Cities. He graduated from Edina H.S. where he competed in baseball, basketball and football and was his class’ commencement speaker at graduation. He went on to study at Stanford University and was a four-year letter winner and a member of the 1987 NCAA College World Series Champions. Following college, he spent 7 seasons playing professional baseball before moving into the business world as a healthcare consultant. Prior to coming to SWCHS, Rob was on staff at Grace Church in Eden Prairie for the previous 14+ years in a variety of roles. After spending many years in the Missions and Outreach department, Mr. Wassenaar spent his final years at Grace as the Pastor of Spiritual Development.
Rob and his wife Cathy live in Eden Prairie, have been married almost 20 years. Both came to Christ at the age of 16 through the influence of friends and FCA. They have 3 children: Josh, Ashley and Drew.
