From the prinicpal

Since 1996, Southwest Christian has been a viable option in the southwest area of the Twin Cities for Christian families seeking a strong academic environment framed in biblical understanding. 

Since the high school years are crucial for personal and educational development, we believe our mission is to assist students in developing a biblical worldview or philosophy of life that will impact them intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. This worldview will contrast dramatically with the secular culture of our day. We are challenged as the Apostle Paul states in Romans 12 to “be transformed by the renewing of your minds…”. This becomes our constant purpose and objective in the educational relationship between our students and faculty.

Southwest Christian provides a caring environment in which every student is valued, whether it be in the classroom, on the performance stage, in our community, or on the basketball court or playing field. It is a nurturing environment in which we are deliberate in making disciples of high school students, preparing them for their life beyond high school in college and university settings and their eventual career.
