Miss Eva bjork
Miss Bjork grew up in Fergus Falls, MN, and moved to the Twin Cities to attend Bethel University. She graduated with a B.A. in History and a Spanish minor. She also received a Master of Arts in Teaching from Bethel University in 2007.
Miss Bjork has been at SWCHS since 2003, when she was hired to teach Spanish part-time. Since then, she has taught various Spanish classes, Western Civilization and U.S. History. Currently she is the full-time Spanish teacher. What she loves most about teaching at SW is the Christian community and the relationships she has been able to develop with both students and staff. Her vision for the SW Spanish program is to increase students’ knowledge of and appreciation for language and Hispanic cultures, and through this deepen their love for God and their desire to serve His Kingdom—in their own communities or abroad.
Outside of Southwest, Miss Bjork most enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and almost any outdoor activity—especially playing tennis, camping, and jogging, rollerblading or walking around MN lakes and trails.
