Mr. Jon Longnecker

After 12 years in sunny South Florida, God saw fit to move this wannabe golfer to Minnesota and Southwest Christian High School -- and he couldn’t be happier! Mr. Longnecker says, "Only God could have orchestrated the events that led to my coming here and I am eager to see what He has in store both for my family and for SWCHS."  In addition to teaching physical education, health, and O.T. Survey, Mr. Longnecker coaches varsity softball and JV girl’s basketball.

When not at school, most of his time is spent with his wife Chandra and their young sons Caleb and Jacob. He enjoys playing or watching sports, reading, traveling, going to the gym and listening to music. His family attends Westwood Community Church. He is grateful to God for the opportunity to serve Him here at Southwest and he is thrilled to be a part of this community.
