Ms. Lyndsay Kunkel
Ms. Lyndsay (Pladson) Kunkel is in her fourth year of teaching at SW. She holds a B.S. in Bible and Social Studies Education from Northwestern College, St. Paul. She currently teaches the senior Worldview & Apologetics course and advises the Yearbook and Poiema, SW's literary magazine. Ms. Kunkel is also the advisor for Student Council. In her past three years at SW, she has also taught Principles of Biblical Interpretation, World Geography, 20th Century History & Thought, and Speech and Debate.
She and her new husband Matthew, a systems engineer, live in Minneapolis and enjoy walking around Minneapolis lakes, reading at various coffee shops, spending time with friends, camping, and kayaking. Her favorite aspect about teaching at SW is helping students discover what it means to live fully alive in the Kingdom of God and how they can invite people into such a life.
