Southwest Christian High School...

...puts the Bible and Christian values in the primary place.  Through a thorough integration of biblical worldview into every subject, and through Bible classes, chapels, and discipleship groups, SW endeavors to do just that.

...offers a rigorous academic program.  Southwest's class offerings emphasize six core areas:  English, history, Bible, math, science, and foreign languages, with supportive electives in other fields.

...emphasizes fine arts.  Three choral groups and a wind ensemble, which are trained in varied musical styles from classical to pop, and a creative art and photography program, enrich the SW experience.

...engages students in sports.  Over half of the student body participates in soccer, girls volleyball, basketball, track, golf, boys baseball, and girls softball.  The school holds membership in the Minnesota State High School League and the Minnesota Christian Athletic Association.

...offers service opportunities.  SW provides opportunities for mission trips, class service projects, and two times a year the entire student body takes the entire day to serve within the community in a variety of ways.

...includes a varied and committed student body.  SW is an independent, inter-denominational school with an emphasis upon the discipling of its students.  Young people who are accepted as students have made a profession of faith in Christ as personal Savior and have indicated a desire to grow in that life-changing relationship.

...sponsors activities to develop leadership qualities.  Drama, student government, homecoming events, student-led Bible studies, Junior/Senior formal, praise & worship team, Night of Stars talent show and a school literary magazine sharpen students and prepare them for the future.

...takes the student body on an All-School Retreat.  Every fall SW students and staff take time out from the regular school week to sharpen our spiritual focus on Jesus, bond with one another, and just plain have fun at a Wisconsin retreat center.
