Portrait of a Graduate
Our Portrait of a Graduate is a guiding vision that defines how we desire our graduates to be formed to live as disciples of Christ.
Southwest Christian High School's Portrait of a Graduate includes eight discipleship habits that are reinforced throughout our curriculum and programs, called Throughlines. It is our hope that our graduates would embody these particular practices as part of being a mature disciple of Jesus Christ.

Loved by God,
Lovers of Others
Students will understand the love God has for them and grow in their desire to act in ways that show love toward God and others.

Idolatry Discerners
Students will discern idols in their lives and culture and place their trust in God alone.

Image Bearers
Students will recognize that our worth is given by God, and we are meant to represent him to the world.

Creators of Beautiful Things
Students will participate in creative acts that are reflective of God's eternal goodness and design.

Stewards of Creation
Students will be active participants in the redeeming process of stewardship.

Seekers of Justice
Students will seek justice in a way that reflects God and recognizes that He will ultimately bring justice.

Order Discoverers
Students will notice the relationships that exist between ideas or objects and restore to harmony and order that which has been disordered.
