Your student may not have started at Southwest Christian High School, but don't let that keep them from finishing with us! Every year, we are able to welcome transfer students into our Christ-centered community. We invite you to see all God is doing at Southwest Christian as you explore the next step in your education!
Inquire
The first step for a student interested in transferring is to reach out to the Admissions office. We would love to hear more about your student, their faith journey, academic performance, and interest in our school.
We will review a copy of your student’s transcript to ensure availability in the desired and necessary courses. We encourage parents and students to learn more about our admissions process and acceptance criteria here.

Learn
If SWCHS is a good fit for your student academically, we invite you to learn about Southwest Christian through a campus visit, student shadow day, or admissions event! These are great opportunities for you to experience our distinctively Christian community firsthand.
Complete the Admissions Checklist
After visiting, if your student is ready to take the next step we encourage them to apply to our school through our online portal. All necessary documentation, including a character reference, can be submitted through the easily accessible checklist.
Once all application materials are received, an interview with the student candidate and parent/guardian is conducted. This is a casual time that allows our administrative team to learn more about the student, their family, their faith, and their interest in SWCHS!
Prepare
Once accepted, our team will walk you through the course registration process to prepare for the upcoming semester. We will review what courses your student will need to take before graduation and confirm your credits will be transferred over from a student’s previous school.
Engage
We love walking through the admissions process with transferring students, and we encourage them to engage with the community!
