Transfer Students

It's never too late to join. You may not have started with us, but don’t let that stop you from finishing with us!

I'm interested. Now what?

Reach out to the admissions office!
We would love to hear more about your student, their academic performance, and their interest in our school.

Send a copy of the transferring student’s transcript
We will review your student’s transcript and determine if there is availability in desired and required courses.

Come to campus
Schedule a shadow day, campus tour, or come to an admissions event to learn more about our school and what life is like for a SWCHS student.

Complete Admissions Checklist
Complete the standard admissions process checklist. English and Math teacher recommendations are waived for transfer students.

Complete the student interview
Your student candidate and at least one parent/guardian will meet with members of our administrative team.

I'm accepted. Now what?

Class Registration
Our team will walk you through the course registration process for the upcoming semester. We will review what courses you will need to take before graduation, and what credits will be transferred over from a student’s previous school.

Placement Tests
Placement tests may be required for students desiring to take advanced courses. These tests are taken at home and allow us to determine the best fit for courses in math and world language.

Onboarding
We desire to make the onboarding process as smooth as possible for all students entering SWC. We love walking alongside students as they prepare to begin school and navigate the transition. This may include helping students get acclimated to the technology SWC uses, connecting them with their discipleship group and leader, or walking their schedule with them ahead of the first day of school.

I'm enrolled. Now what?

Get involved!
We encourage transfer students to get involved right away in their areas of interest. Sports, activities, performing arts, clubs, and committees are great ways to help students connect within our community.
