Grandparents' Day

Grandparents' Day is Thursday, October 2!

Grandparents play a vital role in a child's Christian education by modeling faith, sharing spiritual wisdom, and reinforcing biblical values across generations.

Each year, students look forward to welcoming their grandparents for lunch and a glimpse into their classroom experience. We understand that not every student has a grandparent who can attend, so please don't worry if that's the case.

Grandparent Group Assignments

  • Group 1: Student last names A-L
  • Group 2: Student last names M-Z

Parking

  • Parking will be reserved in front of the building. 
  • We have golf carts for transportation from the parking lot to the building.
  • The building is wheelchair accessible.
  • Enter through Doors #1, #2, or the Athletic Complex Doors, #5 and #6.

Lunch

  • Enjoy a complimentary lunch with your grandchild.

  • We have two elevators and stairs with railings.
  • You will find a place to sit in the gym of the athletic complex.
  • Your grandchild(ren) will join you after they get their lunch from food services or their packed lunch.
  • Your grandchildren will come and find you at your table!
  • Your lunch will be brought to you at your table.

Classroom Visits

  • You can attend class with your grandchild after lunch.
  • If you have more than one grandchild, you might want to spend a few minutes during lunch working out a schedule to see all of their classes. You are also welcome to stay in just one class.
  • If your grandchild has 5th hour open, they can give you a tour of the building or attend an offered class.
  • You are also welcome to visit the spirit store, have your photo taken, and spend time together in the lobby or outside.
