Boys Tennis Ends Record Year at State Tournament

The Southwest Christian Boys Tennis team capped off a historic year, finishing in fifth place at the 2025 Minnesota State High School League State Championship on June 3. In head coach Isaac Velgersdyk's first year leading the program, SWCHS won the Wright County Conference title for the first time in program history, finishing undefeated in league play. Southwest Christian then advanced through section play, qualifying for the program's first-ever state tournament. 

Kit Avery Earns Christian Teacher of the Year

Southwest Christian’s Kit Avery was recognized as a 2025 Christian Teacher of the Year by the Herzog Foundation. His family and business students joined him on stage as Head of School Dan Beckering surprised the student body with the exciting announcement on Friday, May 9, 2025.
