Jay Mayes Selected as Southwest Christian's Athletic Director

We are excited to announce that Jay Mayes has been hired as the new Southwest Christian High School athletic director. 

Mayes comes to SWC from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul where he serves as the men’s lacrosse head coach and athletics operations coordinator. Mayes also coached at the University of Arizona and Gordon College. 

Before coaching, Mayes held a variety of sales/marketing positions at BMORE Creative, Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, Portland LumberJax, and the Baltimore Ravens. Throughout his professional experience, Jay has developed a passion for mentoring and discipling coaches and athletes.

"Jay's skillset, experience in business, coaching, education, and his strong commitment to the Gospel will be a great blessing to our athletes, coaches, and community. I am thrilled to have Jay joining our leadership team."

Jay will begin his role as the athletic director in June.
