SW Leadership Academy seeks to inspire, equip and motivate Southwest students who feel called to lead at school, church, work and in their communities.
What is Leadership Academy?
As a discipleship school, Southwest Christian is passionate about training up our students so that they, to the best of their abilities, can become the godly leaders. With this in mind, the Leadership Academy has been developed to train students to grow in their own leadership skills.
Students will study and learn from the biblical model of servant leadership. Students will also grapple with various case studies from the business, sports, political and education worlds to equip and challenge them.
The Leadership Academy meets before school from 7:30–8:40 a.m. for five weeks starting on Thursday, February 15.
Who can join?
Leadership Academy is designed for only those students in the class of 2025 or class of 2026, and if they desire to be a House captain, a sports captain, and NHS or DECA officer, this is for you. Please note that successful completion is a prerequisite for any student who wishes to be in a future leadership position at SW.
The registration is due on February 9. Our five-week program will start on Thursday, February 15.
Each student is required to attend all five sessions.
